Biography

Shokoya Adewale is a farmer, an Event Manager, Project Coordinator, and Associate Pastor. He is a graduate of Lagos State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. He is an associate member of the Institute of Public Management.

 

Adewale has held various key leadership positions over the years which involved increasing levels of responsibility, accountability, and authority. In 2007, he became the president of the Image Discovery Resources (IDR) and impacted over 50 schools on the issue of vices and societal decadence.

 

From 2009 – 2015, Adewale was the administrator and assistant pastor at RCCG House of Grace, Lagos. He was the President of RCCG Lagos Youth Province 14 and currently the administrator and associate pastor at RCCG Graceville, Lagos. In his six years as an associate pastor, he has coordinated series of programs to enhance member’s productivity and boosted the workforce to over 70% reliable staff and volunteers.

 

In 2009, he founded the non-profit Celebrating Nigeria Society Initiative. The initiative has impacted several communities in Nigeria. Some of its notable projects include providing potable water in communities within Lagos and Ogun State, feeding indigent people and organizing sensitization programs on good governance nationwide. He is also the writer of Mentality 101.

 

In 2010, Adewale launched ASK Events, a Lagos based event management outfit that has delivered excellent service to top bands like Kakawa Discount House and Berger Paints. Under his watch, the brand has mentored students on acquiring skills relevant to event management.
